The XTM 2.5m x 2.5m awning from BCF was the first awning we bought.

We felt the size was perfect for us and we were able to mount it straight on to the side of our roof rack.

It also came with three brackets but we did not use them. It is quite easy to setup with 2 people, it is possible with just the one person as long as there is no wind but I caused some damage to it trying to put it up by myself.

We ended up buying some accessories which fit into the sail tracks. Our main purpose was for shade when at the beach and when setting up camp.

We have never used it as serious rain shelter so can’t comment on rain performance.

The bag has held up well in the sun and brushing trees etc.
